Ice rink heads for Market Common

Residents and tourists in Myrtle Beach will have the chance to take part in a Northern pastime this holiday season.
The Market Common will open a synthetic ice skating rink at Valor Park beginning Dec. 19. The rink will remain open through Jan. 3.
"When we would talk about things that would be fun for the holidays, ice skating was just a natural fit," said Hatton Gravely, marketing manager at The Market Common. "I think it's a good draw to bring in tourists. It's just one more thing that Myrtle Beach has to offer that maybe some of the other towns don't have." Read more >
